What happens when I place an order?
As soon as you place your order you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and you have paid for the purchase.
As soon as we receive your order we pack up your order and submit the order for shipment, within three business days.
When will I receive my order?
If your order is stock and we process the charges to your credit card it will ship within three business days from the date of your order.
We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving to the e-mail address your provide when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order feel free to follow up with us at firstname.lastname@example.org
How long does shipping take?
If the delivery address is in Australia, from the time you place your order, you should receive your fabric within a week.
For all orders, we post with Australia Post, and provide tracking details.
How big are your fat quarters?
All of our fat quarters are at least 18 inches by 21 inches. Most are much bigger, as we are very generous with our cuts.
What is “batik”?
Batik is a technique for dying fabric using wax to create patterns. It is currently really popular in the quilting community because of the beautiful patterns and vibrant colours. Will my fabrics look exactly like the pictures?
Due to the way the fabric is dyed, there will always be great variation in colours. We do our best to ensure that the pictures used to advertise the fabric are good representations of the colours and patterns. We also cannot control for all the variations in device screens; for optimal viewing we recommend using Apple devices.
Do I need to pre-wash the fabric?
We strongly recommend that you wash the fabric before you use it. Due to the dying process, sometimes some wax may be stuck to the fabric. Also, by pre-washing the fabric you ensure that the colours won’t run.
Can I cancel my order?
All orders cancelled after 48 hours are subject to a $10 administration fee whether or not your order has shipped. If you order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges.
What if I’m unhappy with my fabric?
We have a 100% Happiness policy. If for any reason you are not completely happy with your fabric, please contact us within 60 days to arrange a return for a full refund (excluding postage).
